• Key Responsibilities1. Patient Consultation & DiagnosisConduct detailed consultations with patients and understand their medical history, complaints, and requirements.
• Perform appropriate Ayurvedic examination and assessment.
• Diagnose conditions within the scope of BAMS/Ayurveda practice.
• Recommend suitable Ayurvedic treatments, therapies, medicines, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
• Explain the proposed treatment plan clearly to patients and obtain the required consent before treatment.
• 2. Treatment & Patient CareMonitor patients during the course of treatment and assess their progress.
• Modify treatment plans wherever clinically appropriate.
• Coordinate with therapists and other clinical staff to ensure treatments are carried out correctly.
• Provide appropriate follow-up consultations and advice.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, confidentiality, and satisfaction.
• 3. Clinical DocumentationMaintain accurate patient consultation records and treatment notes.
• Ensure prescriptions and treatment instructions are properly recorded.
• Update patient information in the designated software/system.
• Maintain proper records of follow-up visits and treatment progress.
• 4. Coordination with Branch TeamCoordinate effectively with the Branch Manager, therapists, reception team, pharmacy, and other staff.
• Provide clear treatment instructions to therapists.
• Guide the team regarding patient requirements and treatment protocols.
• Ensure smooth coordination between consultation, therapy, pharmacy, and billing processes.
• 5. Patient Relationship & ServiceBuild professional and positive relationships with patients.
• Educate patients about Ayurveda, treatment procedures, diet, lifestyle, and preventive care.
• Address patient queries professionally and escalate complaints or concerns to the appropriate authority.
• Encourage appropriate follow-up visits and continuity of care without compromising professional ethics.
• 6. Branch SupportSupport the Branch Manager in maintaining smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
• Participate in health camps, awareness programs, promotional activities, and other approved branch initiatives.
• Support the branch in achieving its operational and patient-service objectives.
• Maintain professional conduct and uphold the reputation and standards of Ayushman Ayurveda.
• Professional ResponsibilitiesFollow all applicable clinical, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to the organization's attendance and leave policies.
• Maintain professional appearance, dress code, and workplace discipline.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Do not make commitments to patients regarding discounts, refunds, or other commercial matters without proper authorization.
• Report any serious patient concern, adverse event, or operational issue to the appropriate authority immediately.
• QualificationsBAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the applicable State Ayurveda/AYUSH medical council.
• Freshers and experienced candidates may be considered depending on the position requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to use clinic/hospital software.
