Job Description
A financial advisor helps individuals or organizations make informed decisions about their money, including investments, retirement, insurance, taxes, and long-term financial planning.
Key responsibilities:
Meet with clients to understand their financial situation, goals, income, expenses, assets, and risk tolerance.
Develop personalized financial plans and investment strategies.
Recommend investments, retirement strategies, insurance products, and other financial solutions.
Monitor client portfolios and adjust recommendations as financial circumstances or market conditions change.
Explain financial products, investment risks, fees, and strategies clearly.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Research economic conditions, financial markets, and investment opportunities.
Prospect for and acquire new clients, depending on the role.
Maintain accurate client records and comply with applicable financial regulations and company policies.
