Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled VMC / CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Chennai. Candidates with a minimum of 6 months of experience in operating VMC (Vertical Machining Center) or CNC machines are eligible to apply. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of machine operations, quality inspection, and engineering drawings.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOperate VMC or CNC machines efficiently and safely.
• Set up machines according to job specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and report any technical issues.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain production records and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and the production team for smooth operations.
• RequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience as a VMC or CNC Machine Operator.
• ITI, Diploma, or any relevant technical qualification is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and machining processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
