Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Dialysis Technician to provide safe and effective dialysis treatment to patients under the supervision of Nephrologists and the clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for operating dialysis equipment, maintaining infection-control standards, monitoring patients, and ensuring proper functioning of the dialysis unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate haemodialysis machines as per hospital protocols.
• Prepare dialysis equipment, dialysers, bloodlines, fluids, and other required supplies.
• Assist in initiating, monitoring, and completing dialysis procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormal changes immediately.
• Maintain strict infection-control and aseptic practices.
• Check dialysis machines and equipment before and after each procedure.
• Perform machine cleaning, disinfection, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate dialysis records and patient treatment documentation.
• Assist the medical team during emergencies and adverse reactions.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
• Maintain adequate stock of dialysis consumables and report shortages.
• Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, and departmental protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the dialysis unit.
• Provide basic patient support and explain routine dialysis procedures when required.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Relevant certification in Dialysis Technology preferred.
• Valid registration, if applicable, as per state/regulatory requirements.

Experience

• Freshers can apply.
• 1–3 years of experience in a hospital/dialysis centre will be preferred.

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of hemodialysis procedures and equipment.
• Patient monitoring and emergency-handling skills.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and biomedical waste management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
