Job Description

Electrician – B License

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, motors, lighting, and equipment.
  • Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
  • Inspect electrical panels, MCCs, distribution boards, cables, breakers, earthing, and related systems.
  • Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, and megger.
  • Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain electrical maintenance records, logbooks, and breakdown reports.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, production, and other departments during electrical work.
  • Supervise or guide junior electricians/helpers when required.
  • Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
