Senior Pharmacist and Junior Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy | Chennai

WellNest Pharmacy is a new independent retail pharmacy opening near Padur, Chennai. We are looking for an experienced and responsible pharmacists to help establish and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations

Salary will be based on experience. Will be eligible for future incentives depending on overall contribution

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing the initial medicine/product list and advise on stock levels and fast-moving products.
• Coordinate with pharmaceutical wholesalers/distributors and assist with purchasing and replenishment.
• Manage inventory, expiry checks, stock rotation and proper storage.
• Maintain required pharmacy records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately and provide appropriate patient counselling
• Handle customer queries and provide professional, friendly service.
• Help establish pharmacy SOPs and efficient daily workflows.
• Support the pharmacy's home-delivery operations and be willing to make local deliveries when required.
• Contribute to building a professional, customer-focused pharmacy from the ground up.

Requirements:

• B.Pharm/D.Pharm with valid pharmacist registration
• 3–5+ years of retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of prescription medicines, dispensing and pharmacy operations.
• Experience with inventory management and pharmaceutical distributors preferred.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Basic computer/POS skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and customer-focused.
• Willingness to take ownership and work hands-on in a new pharmacy environment
