Job Summary: We are looking for a responsible and safety-oriented Ride Supervisor to oversee the smooth and safe operation of amusement park rides at VGP Universal Kingdom. The Ride Supervisor will supervise ride operators, ensure compliance with safety procedures, manage guest flow, and maintain high standards of customer service and ride operations.

• Key Responsibilities
• Ride Operations & SafetySupervise the day-to-day operation of assigned amusement park rides.
• Ensure all rides are operated strictly as per SOPs, safety guidelines, and company procedures.
• Ensure pre-opening safety checks are completed before rides are made available to guests.
• Monitor ride operations continuously and ensure safe loading and unloading of guests.
• Ensure guests follow all ride safety instructions, height, age, and other applicable restrictions.
• Immediately stop the ride and escalate any safety concern, abnormal condition, or operational issue.
• Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed for all assigned rides.
• Team SupervisionSupervise, guide, and allocate duties to Ride Operators.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and performance.
• Conduct on-the-job training for Ride Operators on safety, ride procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
• Ensure adequate manpower is available during peak hours, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Address staff-related operational issues and report major concerns to the Operations Manager.
• Guest & Crowd ManagementEnsure smooth movement of guests through ride entry and exit areas.
• Monitor queues and maintain proper crowd control around rides.
• Handle guest queries, complaints, and operational concerns professionally.
• Ensure children and guests requiring assistance are handled with appropriate care and attention.
• Maintain a positive and safe guest experience throughout ride operations.
• Maintenance & Emergency CoordinationCoordinate with the Maintenance/Engineering Team for ride inspections, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements.
• Report ride defects, unusual sounds, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately.
• Ensure rides are not operated when safety clearance has not been received.
• Coordinate with Security and First Aid teams during emergencies or incidents.
• Follow established emergency evacuation and ride-rescue procedures.
• Ensure all ride-related incidents are properly reported and documented.
• Documentation & ReportingMaintain daily ride operation and inspection records.
• Record ride downtime, breakdowns, incidents, and other operational issues.
• Prepare daily reports and submit them to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure proper handover of ride status between shifts.
• Monitor compliance with operational checklists and safety documentation.

• Good knowledge of amusement park ride operations and safety procedures.
• Excellent guest handling and communication skills.
• Good crowd and queue management skills.
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies.

• Good coordination with Maintenance, Security, First Aid, and Operations teams.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced amusement park environment.

Qualification & ExperienceEducation: 12th Pass / Diploma / Any Graduate

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in:

• Amusement / Theme Parks
• Hospitality
• Entertainment & Recreation
• Operations
• Customer Service
• Other similar service-oriented industries

Previous experience supervising ride operators or an amusement park operations team will be an advantage.
