Job Description

Area Manager - FRM - Risk - Chennai - Kuber

Main Accountabilities

1. Fraud Monitoring & Prevention

  • Perform area-level monitoring of fraud indicators across branches, sourcing channels, and products.
  • Execute defined sampling checks and verification reviews.
  • Track suspicious patterns and escalate potential fraud cases.

2. Investigation Support

  • Conduct preliminary reviews and data collection for suspected fraud cases.
  • Assist zonal teams in investigation documentation and root cause analysis.
  • Support closure tracking and corrective action implementation.

3. Field Risk Oversight

  • Perform branch visits and process compliance checks.
  • Monitor DSAs, connectors, and third-party vendors for adherence to fraud control guidelines.
  • Identify operational gaps and report findings.

4. Risk Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain fraud trackers, investigation logs, and risk monitoring reports.
  • Provide inputs for zonal dashboards and governance reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely escalation of issues.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Banking, Risk Management, or related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of experience in Fraud Risk, Operations Risk, or Credit Monitoring within NBFCs/Banks.
  • Exposure to field audits, investigations, or risk monitoring preferred.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.
