JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Building Materials industry @ chennai

LOCATION: Chennai

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5–8 Years in Cement/paint/TMT /any other building materials industry

SALARY: ₹45,000 to ₹60,000 + TA/DA +Food expenses + Incentives

JOB DESCRIPTION:We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to manage sales and business development for building material products across Chennai and nearby markets.

The candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the sales team and developing dealer, distributor and project business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

Manage and develop dealers, distributors, builders and contractors.

Lead and guide the sales team to achieve business objectives.

Develop new markets and expand the customer network.Conduct regular market visits and monitor sales activities.

Build strong relationships with dealers, builders, architects and contractors.Generate new business opportunities and convert leads into sales.Monitor competitor products, pricing and market activities.

Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.

Prepare sales reports and provide regular market feedback to management.

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Building Materials / Construction / Infrastructure / related industries.

Experience in dealer and distributor management preferred.

Strong knowledge of the Chennai market.

Team handling and leadership experience.

Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Strong sales and business development skills.

Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
