AutoCAD / Mechanical Draughtsman

We are looking for an AutoCAD / Mechanical Draughtsman to prepare accurate mechanical drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings and related technical documents as per project and engineering requirements.

• Key Responsibilities Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for mechanical products, components and assemblies.
• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, sectional details and installation drawings.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, dimensions, and technical requirements.
• Prepare drawings based on engineering instructions, measurements and site requirements.
• Modify and update drawings based on design changes and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Design, Estimation, Production, and Project teams for drawing requirements.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with approved specifications and company standards.
• Maintain proper records and revision control of drawings.
• Support the engineering team in preparing BOMs and material details wherever required.
• Visit project/site locations when required for measurements and technical clarification.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of drawings as per project schedules.
• Qualification & SkillsITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is essential.
• Knowledge of mechanical drafting, fabrication, and manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of MS Office is preferred.
• Knowledge of 3D software such as SolidWorks/Inventor will be an added advantage.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work within deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, rolling shutters, doors, steel works, or other mechanical products will be preferred.

ITI/Diploma candidates with relevant AutoCAD drafting experience are encouraged to apply.
