Job Title: Junior Civil Site Engineer (Freshers / Diploma)

Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (In-Person)

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 / month (Based on interview & quick measurement test)

Experience: 0–1 Year (Freshers with strong basics are highly welcome)

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Job Overview

We are looking for a sharp, responsible, and budget-conscious Junior Site Engineer to handle day-to-day site supervision and structural/finishing work measurements. If you know how to read drawings and handle a measurement tape perfectly, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Site Measurements: Take highly accurate physical measurements of brickwork, plastering, flooring, and shuttering on-site.

• M-Book & Excel Entry: Record daily progress and measurements clearly in the site Measurement Book (M-Book) or MS Excel.

• Drawing Verification: Cross-check site execution with approved structural and architectural drawings.

• Material & Labour Tracking: Monitor daily material usage to minimize wastage and manage small labour teams.

• Reporting: Send daily progress updates and site photographs to the owner/manager.

Requirements & Skills

• Must know how to use a measuring tape and take dimensions accurately without confusion.

• Basic understanding of civil construction units (feet-inches, meters, brass, bags).

• Ability to read basic architectural blueprints and layout plans.

• Basic smartphone/computer skills (MS Excel is a big plus).

• Must own a two-wheeler for commuting to the site.
