Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced driver to operate a Tata Ace mini truck for the safe and on-time delivery of goods to customers and business locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the Tata Ace safely to deliver and pick up goods on schedule
- Load and unload goods carefully, and check items against delivery documents
- Plan efficient routes and follow traffic rules at all times
- Keep the vehicle clean and do basic daily checks (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes)
- Report any breakdowns, accidents, or damage to the supervisor
- Maintain delivery records, trip logs, and fuel bills
- Collect payments or signatures from customers when required
- Be polite and professional with customers
Requirements:
- Valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving license
- 1 to 2 years of driving experience, preferably with a Tata Ace or a similar vehicle
- Good knowledge of local roads and areas
- Basic reading skills to handle delivery documents
- Physically fit enough to load and unload goods
- Honest, punctual, and responsible
