Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing comprehensive procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and problem resolution to maintain database integrity and performance, while adapting to evolving project requirements and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize data management processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices in database design and maintenance to ensure high availability and security.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align database strategies with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Database Architecture.
- Strong expertise in database installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ability to develop and implement database security measures.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation for database maintenance tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Database Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
