Job SummaryHind Hardware is looking for a responsible and punctual Delivery Executive to ensure the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of hardware products to retailers, dealers, and customers across Chennai.

1. Key Responsibilities

Order Delivery: Deliver locks, hardware products, adhesives, and other materials to customers as per the daily delivery schedule.

Order Verification: Check products, quantities, and invoices before dispatch to ensure accurate deliveries.

Safe Handling: Handle products carefully and ensure goods reach customers without damage.

Documentation: Collect customer signatures, delivery acknowledgements, and necessary documents.

Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the delivery vehicle in good condition and report any mechanical issues, damage, or maintenance requirements.

Route Planning: Follow assigned routes and complete deliveries efficiently and on time.

Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and represent Hind Hardware positively.

Stock Coordination: Coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams regarding pending deliveries, shortages, returns, and customer complaints.

Daily Reporting: Submit delivery records and report completed, pending, and unsuccessful deliveries to the supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualification: 10th or 12th standard.
• Valid driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle, if driving is required.
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with Chennai roads and local areas.
• Ability to handle and transport hardware goods safely.
• Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
• Knowledge of Tamil is essential; basic English is preferred.

Working Days & Timings

• Working days: Monday to Saturday.
• Working hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, subject to delivery requirements.

Compensation

Salary will be based on experience, driving ability, and suitability for the role.
