Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and Treat: Examine patients’ teeth, gums, and oral tissues using X-rays and diagnostic tools to identify decay, disease, or injury.
  • Restorative & General Care: Perform fillings, root canals, tooth extractions, crowns, bridges, and basic prosthodontic or cosmetic treatments.
  • Preventive Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, and post-treatment care.
  • Prescriptions: Prescribe necessary medications, antibiotics, or pain-management protocols.
  • Specialist Referrals: Refer complex cases to orthodontists, endodontists, or oral surgeons when required.
  • Team Supervision: Guide and oversee dental hygienists, dental assistants, and support staff.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and treatment plans.
