Depot Implementation & Metrics Analyst

The Depot Implementation & Metrics Analyst is responsible for driving the end-to-end implementation of new depot facilities across South Africa (ZA), the Middle East (ME), and India (IN), while managing departmental performance metrics and supporting Ford Production System (FPS) design and Requirement to Operate (RTO) initiatives.

A key responsibility of this role is developing and maintaining the standardized depot implementation package, which serves as the foundational framework and reference model for depot rollouts across the International Markets Group (IMG). The position combines project management, financial analysis, operational analytics, and continuous improvement expertise to support network expansion and operational excellence.

New Depot Project Implementation Package Development

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the standardized depot implementation package used across the IMG region.
  • Create implementation standards, templates, governance processes, and operational readiness requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation effectiveness and standardization across markets.

Business Case & Financial Justification Authoring (ZA, ME, IN)

  • Develop business cases and financial justifications for new depot investments and network expansion initiatives.
  • Perform financial analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and investment evaluations to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to validate assumptions, risks, and projected benefits.

New Depot Implementation Support (ZA, ME, IN)

  • Support the end-to-end implementation of new depot facilities across South Africa, the Middle East, and India.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure implementation milestones and launch readiness requirements are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and support mitigation plans to ensure successful execution.

Departmental Metrics Management

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance departmental performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
  • Analyze trends and recommend actions to improve operational performance and efficiency.

Ford Production System (FPS) Design Development & Requirement to Operate (RTO)

  • Support FPS design initiatives by developing standardized operational processes and best practices.
  • Participate in Requirement to Operate (RTO) assessments and operational readiness reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities that enhance productivity, quality, and operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in logistics, depot or warehouse operations, supply chain, project implementation, or related operational roles.
  • Experience managing or supporting cross-functional projects and implementation activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience developing performance metrics, KPI reporting, and business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in depot, warehouse, distribution center, or logistics network implementation.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, Ford Production System (FPS), or similar operational excellence methodologies.
  • Experience developing business cases and financial evaluations.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SAP, or similar reporting and business systems.
  • Experience working across multiple countries or regional operations.
