About the RoleNakshatra Automation is looking for a hands-on ELV / CCTV / BMS / Automation Technician to join our project execution team.

You will work on residential and commercial projects involving smart home automation, CCTV, video door phones, networking, sensors and other smart-building systems.

This is a field-based technical role. Willingness to travel and stay at project sites across Tamil Nadu is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Install smart switches, automation modules, sensors and control devices.
• Install and troubleshoot CCTV and video door phone systems.
• Carry out ELV and structured cabling work.
• Perform RJ45 termination and basic network installation.
• Install and dress equipment racks and panels neatly.
• Test devices and carry out pre-commissioning checks.
• Identify installation faults and perform minor corrective/reinstallation work.
• Read and follow basic electrical, ELV and system drawings.
• Maintain installation quality and site cleanliness.
• Complete installation checklists and required site documentation.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and Commissioning Engineer.
• Travel to project sites across Tamil Nadu and stay at sites for several days when required.

ITI / Diploma preferred.

Performance-Based Earnings₹20,000 fixed salary + up to ₹10,000 performance incentive per month.

The incentive will be based on factors such as:

• Installation quality
• Productivity
• First-time-right workmanship
• Rework/error rate
• Attendance and project commitment
• Documentation and site discipline

Career GrowthYou will be trained in Nakshatra's installation and automation practices and can progress through:

Technician → Senior Technician → Pre-Commissioning Technician → Commissioning Engineer

Important: This is not a conventional house-wiring electrician position.

We are looking for technicians from CCTV, BMS, ELV, automation, electronics or related technical backgrounds who want to develop a career in Smart Home & Building Automation.

Tamil Nadu travel and multi-day project stays are part of the job.
