Job Title: Event Operations Manager – Field Role (Labour Handling)

Location: Chennai  

Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (extended hours during events when required)

About the Role:  

We are looking for a hands-on Event Operations Manager to manage on-ground execution of events. This is a field-intensive role involving labour handling, vendor coordination, and real-time problem solving during event setups.

This is NOT a desk job.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise labour teams (10–50 workers) for event setup and dismantling  

- Ensure all work is completed on time as per schedule  

- Coordinate with vendors (Site managers, Office Stockist, Godown Stockist, etc.)  

- Handle last-minute changes and on-site challenges  

- Maintain discipline and productivity of labour on-site  

- Oversee quality and finishing of event structures

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year experience in event operations / site supervision / warehousing / construction  

- Must have experience handling labour teams  

- Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability  

- Willing to work long hours and be fully on-site  

- Fluent in Tamil (mandatory)

- Basic Hindi/English

Preferred Background:

- Event companies (weddings, exhibitions, corporate events)  

- Tent house / shamiana setups  

- Stage / Warehousing / construction site supervision

Compensation:

- Fixed Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹22,000/month (based on experience)  

- Potential Incentives in the future (Will discuss in person)
