Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Raymond Reach Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team during our General Shift. The ideal candidate will operate a stand-up Raymond reach truck to safely move, stack, and retrieve palletized materials in high-density, narrow-aisle storage configurations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate Raymond stand-up reach forklift trucks to place and extract inventory from high-tier racking installations.
• Material Handling: Load and unload incoming/outgoing shipments from trailers using proper load-handling techniques.
• Inventory Control: Utilize handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to scan, allocate, and accurately track inventory movements.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, stage, pack, and label accurate product lines according to daily picking sheets.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct mandated daily pre-shift equipment checks and immediately report structural rack or vehicle defects.
• Space Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and clear of debris to ensure a safe pedestrian environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification: Valid, active forklift operating license explicitly confirming qualification on Reach Lift equipment.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience specifically piloting Raymond brand reach trucks in tight, narrow-aisle configurations.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with RF scanner operations and common automated warehouse inventory databases.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and maintain extended standing postures on stand-up platforms.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent spatial awareness and precision steering control required to protect overhead inventory and high racks from damage.
