ROLE SUMMARY

The role leads end-to-end development, management, and enhancement of the Business Loan, Loan Against Property (LAP) & Home Loan product portfolio, aligning with Muthoot Fincorp's strategic objectives. It involves owning and managing the product roadmap, market collaboration processes with cross-functional, compliance teams to drive revenue growth, and delivering exceptional client experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy & Operations

?

Define and execute product strategy for Business Loans, LAP, and Home Loans, aligned with organizational goals, while identifying growth opportunities and expansion avenues.

?

Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.

?

Translate business needs into clear user stories, PRDs (Product Requirement Documents), and acceptance criteria.

?

Monitor product deliverables, sprint progress, and key performance metrics to ensure timely execution.

?

Oversee day-to-day product operations, including issue tracking, impact assessment, and release coordination.

?

Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making..

Process Excellence & Customer Experience

?

Continuously review and optimize loan approval, disbursement, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time (TAT).

?

Drive the implementation of technology-led solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

?

Work closely with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to credit policies and regulatory requirements.

?

Proactively identify potential risks in product design and internal processes, and implement mitigation strategies.

KEY SKILLS & BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES

•

2–3 years of experience in the BFSI sector, preferably in lending products.

•

Strong understanding of product management and business analysis concepts.

•

Hands-on experience with wireframing and UI/UX design principles.

•

Proven ability in product development and sales enablement.

•

Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Jira, and other product management platforms.

•

Basic understanding of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) is an added advantage.

•

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder management skills.

•

Effective communication with the ability to bridge business and technology teams.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Graduate or MBA in Finance or Management (preferred); mobility & communication; willingness to travel as required; proficiency in English, Hindi, and/or relevant regional languages.
