Kitchen Steward

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and hygienic Kitchen Steward for our school dining hall. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area, assisting with food service setup, washing utensils, and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sanitation & Hygiene: Clean, sanitize, and maintain all kitchen areas, dining tables, food counters, and dishwashing stations according to safety standards.
• Dishwashing & Equipment Care: Wash, dry, and properly store cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, and cutlery using manual or automated dishwashing methods.
• Dining Setup & Clearance: Assist in setting up dining tables before mealtimes and clearing trays, leftover food, and waste promptly after meals.
• Waste Management: Collect and dispose of kitchen waste and garbage in designated bins, maintaining proper segregation and cleanliness.
• Basic Kitchen Assistance: Help kitchen staff with basic prep work (e.g., washing vegetables, unloading grocery supplies) as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Education: 10th Pass or Below 10th
• Experience: Prior experience as a kitchen steward, dishwasher, or helper in a school, hotel, cafeteria, or restaurant is preferred (Freshers may apply)
• Skills: Knowledge of hygiene practices, physical stamina, basic cleanliness protocols, and ability to work in a team
