MEP QUANTITY SURVEYOR

*Position:* MEP Quantity Surveyor (MEP QS)

*Location:* Ambattur OT, Chennai

*Employment Type:* Full-Time | Office-Based

*Job Responsibilities:*

• Prepare *quantity take-offs and BOQs* for MEP works.

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

• Prepare *cost estimates, rate analysis, and quotations*.

• Handle *HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other MEP services*.

• Review and compare *vendor/subcontractor quotations*.

• Prepare *variation statements and cost calculations*.

• Assist with *tendering, estimation, and commercial evaluation*.

• Coordinate with the *design, BIM, procurement, and project teams*.

• Monitor project quantities and ensure accurate measurement and documentation.

• Support *client and consultant submissions* related to quantities and costs.

*Required Skills:*

• Strong knowledge of *MEP quantity surveying and estimation*.

• Good understanding of *MEP drawings and specifications*.

• Proficiency in *MS Excel and AutoCAD*.

• Knowledge of *BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and quantity take-off*.

• Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

• Experience with *Bluebeam / CostX / other QS software* will be an advantage.

*Qualification:*

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in *Mechanical / Electrical / Civil* or a relevant discipline.

*Experience:*

*3–8 years* of relevant experience in MEP Quantity Surveying / Estimation preferred.
