Job Description
· Developing and supervising a system of control and accountability including a formulary for drugs dispensed
· Maintain prescription records and registers as per NABH
· Controls system of indenting, procuring, storing and safe dispensing of medications
· personally responsible for compliance with all laws governing the practice of pharmacy, dispensing and distribution of drugs
· Maintains the drug according to the Batch & Expiry date
· Maintains expiry drug register.
· Maintains Narcotic (Sedation) Drug register.
· Maintains schedule – H register
· Maintain Vaccine stock in proper temperature maintenance in the refrigerator
· Maintain High Risk Medicines.
· Evaluates the vendors and maintains their list
· Maintains approved suppliers list
· Reports to the Pharmacy Manager.
