Job Description

The Associate Program Manager supports the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the NIQ Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) Intake process, the single entry point for Technology and Operations development initiatives across the enterprise. The PDLC Intake process ensures requests are properly reviewed, governed, prioritized, and aligned before entering delivery.

This role helps ensure requests move efficiently through the intake lifecycle, from submission through review, approval, and readiness for execution. Working closely with Product, Technology, Architecture, Operations, PMO, and business stakeholders, the Associate Program Manager provides operational support, drives process discipline, improves visibility, and helps create a positive intake experience for requestors.

The ideal candidate combines strong operational execution with analytical and technical capabilities, including experience with reporting, dashboarding, and process automation technologies. They are curious, technology-savvy, highly organized, comfortable rolling up their sleeves to solve problems, and confident engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.

PDLC Intake Administration & Execution

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the PDLC Intake process and associated intake management tools.

  • Review incoming intake requests for completeness, quality, and adherence to intake standards.

  • Guide requestors through the intake process and help them navigate requirements, reviews, and approvals.

  • Coordinate the progression of requests through intake stages, governance reviews, and approval workflows.

  • Monitor intake queues, aging requests, approvals, and service levels to ensure timely progression.

  • Maintain accurate intake records, audit trails, and supporting documentation.

  • Act as a first point of contact for intake-related questions and operational support.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Product, Technology, Architecture, Operations, Security, Legal, Procurement, Finance, AI, and other stakeholder groups throughout the intake lifecycle.

  • Follow up proactively with stakeholders to drive reviews, decisions, and issue resolution.

  • Coordinate intake review meetings, governance forums, workshops, and working sessions.

  • Capture actions, decisions, risks, dependencies, and outcomes from stakeholder discussions.

  • Support leadership reviews by providing clear and accurate status updates.

Technology & Tooling

  • Act as a power user of Jira, Power BI, Microsoft 365, workflow platforms, and collaboration technologies.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide visibility into intake performance and operational health.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes through Power Automate and other Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.

  • Support enhancements to intake systems, workflows, reporting solutions, and self-service capabilities.

  • Leverage data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder experience.

  • Quickly learn and adopt new technologies that support the evolution of the Intake function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in program coordination, PMO, operations, process improvement, governance, or intake management.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology organizations.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.

  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach and willingness to work across both strategic and operational activities.
