Quality Control Engineer – Civil Background

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer – Civil to monitor and maintain the quality of construction activities. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials, workmanship, and site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInspect civil construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor the quality of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.
• Conduct and monitor slump tests, concrete cube tests, material inspections, and other required quality tests.
• Verify incoming construction materials and ensure they meet project specifications.
• Check reinforcement, bar bending, concrete cover, shuttering, dimensions, levels, and alignment before concrete works.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection Test Plans (ITP), checklists, quality reports, and inspection records.
• Identify quality issues and raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) where required.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, and Project Managers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
• Maintain proper QA/QC documentation throughout the project.
• Ensure construction activities comply with relevant IS Codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report quality deviations to the management.
• Qualification : Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Relevant experience in construction quality control / QA-QC preferred.
