SCM SPECIALIST

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end shipment operations, from booking and planning through shipment execution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. The individual acts as the key point of contact for customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders while handling shipping documentation, live shipment bookings, exception management, and shipment tracking. The role also supports billing activities, process improvements, training and capability-building initiatives, and requires strong knowledge of supply chain operations, FCL/LCL shipments, TAT management, and performance metrics such as GOI and KPIs.

Purpose of the role

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations after booking, including shipment handling, documentation, system updates, and booking support. It involves working closely with Customer Service and FinOps teams to ensure smooth supply chain execution, handle queries, and resolve issues. The person is expected to proactively manage exceptions, maintain accurate data, and ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Qualifications

Graduate of any bachelor's degree.

Fluent in English with good communication skills.
