Senior Accountant

Responsibilities Financial

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor project-wise accounting and profitability for ongoing and completed real estate projects.
• Review journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other applicable regulations.
• Review and file statutory returns accurately and within prescribed timelines.
• Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities as required.
• Stay updated on changes in taxation and accounting regulations affecting the real estate sector.

Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, tax, and GST audits.
• Develop and maintain robust internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor daily cash flow requirements and fund utilization.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital reports.
• Coordinate with banks for loan disbursements, project finance, and banking transactions.
• Manage vendor payments and customer collections efficiently.
