Senior Engineer- DAC

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Perform system design calculations and engineering analysis for vehicle dynamics systems.
Develop and optimize vehicle subsystem designs to meet performance, durability, and safety requirements.
Carry out fastener selection, sizing, and validation calculations.
Conduct benchmarking studies and cascade system-level targets into component-level design requirements.
Prepare and maintain Design Verification Plans (DVP) and Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documents.
Coordinate with CAE teams for design optimization, simulation activities, and test-correlation studies.
Review and approve supplier and in-house engineering drawings in compliance with design standards.
Drive technical reviews and manufacturing feasibility assessments with suppliers to ensure robust product development.
Collaborate with Material Management teams to facilitate timely development and procurement of components.
Develop rig test plans and DVPs to validate durability, reliability, and performance requirements.
Lead root cause analysis and resolution of development-stage and field-related product concerns.
Identify and implement cost reduction and weight optimization initiatives without compromising product performance and quality.
Prepare and analyze tolerance stack-up studies to ensure fit, form, function, and manufacturability of assemblies.
Support cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to production implementation.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and customer expectations during product development.
