Shift Incharge – Quick Commerce

Shift Incharge is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, product quality, and process compliance within the Quick Commerce fulfillment center. The role includes auditing inventory, managing expiry-sensitive products, monitoring Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) quality, and driving operational excellence to ensure customers receive fresh and defect-free products.

• Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily inventory audits and quality checks across the fulfillment center.
• Ensure Right Bin, Right Item (RBRI) compliance and maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Monitor Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) for freshness, damages, spoilage, and storage compliance.
• Perform expiry management activities, including FEFO (First Expiry First Out) implementation and timely removal of near-expiry/expired products.
• Conduct wall-to-wall audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Identify and report product damages, quality defects, and process deviations.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive and perishable products.
• Track inventory health metrics and take corrective actions to reduce wastage.
• Support inbound, stow, pick, pack, and dispatch quality audits.
• Analyze root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain audit records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
• Train associates on quality standards, expiry management, and inventory best practices.
• Coordinate with Operations, Category, and Inventory teams to improve process compliance and customer experience.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and quality processes.
• Understanding of Fruits & Vegetables quality standards and expiry management practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.

• Preferred QualificationBachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in Quick Commerce, E-commerce, Retail, Warehouse Operations, Quality, or Inventory Management preferred.
