Solution Architect - IS
- Partner with Supply Chain, Material Planning, and Parts Logistics business leaders, Product Managers, Software Delivery Leads, Software Engineers, and Enterprise Architects.
- Define solution architectures that support business capabilities and long-term technology strategies.
- Lead system design activities, technology assessments, and architecture reviews.
- Provide technical guidance through proof-of-concepts (POCs), performance optimization initiatives, product evaluations, and fit-gap assessments.
- Design and support cloud-native and hybrid architectures leveraging GCP, Azure, and related technologies.
- Drive modernization initiatives for legacy applications and support migration to cloud platforms.
- Ensure architecture compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements, and governance processes.
- Document architecture decisions, technical designs, and implementation strategies.
- Identify and drive remediation of technical debt.
- Collaborate with multiple delivery teams to support successful solution implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Software Engineer, or a related technical role.
- Experience with Material Planning, Inventory Management, Parts Logistics, or Supply Chain systems.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Strong understanding of solution architecture principles across application, integration, infrastructure, and cloud domains.
- Experience designing solutions using Java, Mainframe, and distributed systems architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed cloud environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks, architecture standards, and governance practices.
- Experience migrating applications from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience working within complex, multi-team enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with architecture governance processes and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
