Job Description
Stenographer – Job Opportunity
Position: Stenographer
Workplace: Advocate Office
Location: Kilpauk, Chennai
Gender: Female
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Experience: Experienced candidates only
Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Take dictation and prepare accurate documents.
- Type legal documents, letters, notices and correspondence.
- Maintain case files, records and legal documents.
- Prepare and format documents using MS Word.
- Assist the Advocate with daily office and documentation work.
- Handle client communication and office correspondence.
- Maintain confidentiality of legal information.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Stenographer is mandatory.
- Good shorthand and English typing skills.
- Knowledge of MS Word and basic computer operations.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of legal terminology is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
