Store Associate

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and customer-oriented Store Associate to join our team at Brownie Heaven. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, maintaining store hygiene, handling products carefully, and ensuring smooth day-to-day outlet operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Service

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
• Explain menu items, brownie varieties, cakes, ice creams, shakes, and sundaes.
• Recommend products and combos to increase sales.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure every customer has a pleasant experience.

2. Billing and Sales

• Take customer orders accurately and coordinate with the billing counter.
• Ensure every bill includes the customer's name and phone number, as per company policy.
• Inform customers about ongoing offers and promotions.
• Encourage add-on sales and suggest complementary products.
• Ensure discounts are applied only according to company guidelines.

3. Product Handling and Presentation

• Maintain the display counter neatly and attractively.
• Ensure products are handled, packed, and served properly.
• Check product freshness, expiry dates, and stock availability.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock rotation procedures.
• Report damaged, expired, or wasted products to the Outlet Manager.

4. Hygiene and Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness of the customer area, counters, tables, and workstations.
• Wear the prescribed uniform, shoes, and hairnet wherever required.
• Follow food safety and personal hygiene standards.
• Keep equipment and storage areas clean.
• Follow all outlet opening and closing cleaning procedures.

5. Stock and Store Operations

• Assist with receiving, arranging, and counting stock.
• Report low stock and replenishment requirements to the Outlet Manager.
• Store products at the correct temperature and follow storage guidelines.
• Support daily stock checks and wastage recording.
• Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.

6. Teamwork and Discipline

• Follow instructions from the Outlet Manager.
• Report to work on time and maintain attendance discipline.
• Complete assigned product training and follow standard operating procedures.
• Work cooperatively with team members during busy hours.
• Take responsibility for assigned duties and report operational issues promptly.
• Eligibility and RequirementsMinimum qualification: 10th or 12th pass.
• Experience in retail, food service, bakery, café, or restaurant operations is preferred.
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may apply.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic billing and calculation skills.
• Presentable appearance, punctuality, and a customer-first attitude.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
