Technician and Welder

Company: IndoGerma, a Chennai-based manufacturer of rolling shutters, fire doors and dock levellers.

Location: Chennai

Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹20,000 per month

Experience: 0-2 years

We are hiring Technicians and Welders for work on rolling shutters, fire doors and dock levellers.

Responsibilities

Technician:

- Assemble and install rolling shutters, fire doors, dock levellers and associated hardware according to drawings and work instructions.

- Check alignment, operation and safety after installation.

- Inspect, service and repair equipment, replace worn or damaged parts, and keep service records.

Welder:

- Measure, mark, cut and fit steel components for rolling shutters, fire doors and dock levellers.

- Weld components according to approved drawings and work instructions.

- Check dimensions, alignment and weld quality; finish joints and correct defects.

Both roles:

- Use tools and equipment safely, maintain equipment, and follow safety practices.

Requirements

- Technician: Practical mechanical skills and confidence using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment. Door installation, maintenance or fabrication experience preferred.

- Welder: Practical steel welding and fabrication skills. Experience with steel doors, frames or sheet-metal fabrication preferred.

- Both roles: Ability to follow basic drawings and work instructions, with attention to accuracy, workmanship, safety and teamwork.
