Job Description – VTL OperatorJob Title: VTL Operator

Experience: 1–5 Years

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) machines.
  • Load and unload components safely.
  • Perform machining operations as per drawings and specifications.
  • Select and change cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures.
  • Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, etc.
  • Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
  • Maintain machine and workplace cleanliness.
  • Follow safety and quality standards.
  • Identify basic machine or tooling issues and inform the supervisor.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in VTL Machine Operation.
  • Basic knowledge of machining and cutting tools.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection.

Education: ITI / Diploma / Relevant Experience
