Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Spoken English Teacher to join our Gurukul. The candidate will be responsible for building English conversational fluency, vocabulary, and confidence among students in a traditional and disciplined Gurukul environment. This is a full-time, residential role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily spoken English, basic grammar, and pronunciation classes for students.
  • Organize interactive activities such as group discussions, public speaking, storytelling, and debates to build student confidence.
  • Help students integrate English communication into their daily routines.
  • Maintain a positive, disciplined, and encouraging learning environment aligned with Gurukul values.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.A. / M.A. in English Literature, B.Ed., or equivalent preferred).
  • Experience: 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred (Freshers with excellent fluency are welcome to apply).
  • Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English, strong interpersonal skills, and patience with young learners.
  • Mandatory: Willingness to reside full-time on the Gurukul campus.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and inspiring Sanskrit Teacher to instruct our students in Sanskrit language, literature, grammar (Vyakarana), and cultural values. The ideal candidate should be deeply rooted in Indian culture and comfortable living in a residential Gurukul ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Sanskrit grammar, literature, chanting (Shlokas), and conversational Sanskrit (Samskrita Sambhashana).
  • Prepare lesson plans that combine traditional learning methods with engaging teaching techniques.
  • Guide students in proper pronunciation, recitation, and moral/ethical understanding of ancient texts.
  • Participate actively in daily Gurukul routines, prayers, and cultural functions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: B.A. / M.A. in Sanskrit, Acharya, Shastri, or B.Ed. in Sanskrit.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school, Gurukul, or educational institution.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of Sanskrit grammar, fluency in conversational Sanskrit, and a passion for value-based education.
  • Mandatory: Willingness to live on campus full-time.
