Job Description
- Site Preparation: Coordinates topographical surveys, soil compaction tests, and land grading plans.
- Foundation Design: Oversees installation of pile foundations, concrete pads, and mounting structures.
- Infrastructure Layout: Designs access roads, drainage systems, stormwater networks, and perimeter fences.
- Structural Analysis: Validates structural load-bearing tolerances for wind, snow, and seismic activity.
- Vendor Quality Control: Inspects steel fabrication, rebar quality, and material certifications delivered by EPC contractors.
- Billing Verification: Reviews and certifies running bills based on actual civil works completed at the site. [1, 2, 4, 5]
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years executing utility-scale ground-mounted or rooftop solar systems.
- Software Competency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or civil site design tools.
- Field Knowledge: Deep understanding of pile load testing, concrete pouring metrics, and IS/international building codes.
