Field Collection Executive

Job Description

A Field Collection Executive visits customers who have pending payments, explains outstanding dues, negotiates repayment options when applicable, collects payments, and updates collection records accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers to collect overdue payments.
• Explain payment details and resolve customer queries.
• Negotiate repayment plans according to company guidelines.
• Collect payments through approved methods and issue receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits and collections.
• Update collection status using mobile apps or company software.
• Follow company policies, legal requirements, and ethical collection practices.
• Meet daily and monthly collection targets.
• Report difficult cases or disputes to supervisors.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers.

Required Skills

• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office or mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Basic mathematics and record-keeping skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 10th Or +2 (Higher Secondary) or Diploma,Any Degree
• DRA Ceritificate.
• PVR Certificate.
• Graduate preferred for many organizations.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license
• Own two-wheeler may be preferred by some employers.
• Previous experience in collections, sales, or customer service is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Extensive local travel and customer visits.
• Flexible working hours depending on collection schedules.
• Basic Target-oriented role with regular reporting to the team leader or manager.
