Position Overview

The Head of Production, Factory & Outlet Operations will be responsible for the overall management of KAGAW’s chocolate and bakery production, factory operations, and retail outlets. The role will ensure smooth daily operations, consistent product quality, food safety, hygiene, efficient manpower utilization, inventory control, cost management, and timely production and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily chocolate and bakery production and ensure adherence to recipes and SOPs.
• Oversee factory operations, equipment, maintenance, hygiene, and workplace safety.
• Manage retail outlet operations, product display, freshness, cleanliness, and customer-service standards.
• Coordinate production and stock requirements between the factory and outlets.
• Monitor raw materials, finished products, wastage, inventory, and production efficiency.
• Lead, train, and supervise production and outlet teams.
• Maintain high standards of quality and food safety in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, R&D, Sales, Finance, and HR.
• Support the R&D team in developing, testing, improving, and scaling new chocolate and bakery recipes.
• Assist in product trials, recipe standardization, and commercial production.
• Prepare and review production, inventory, wastage, and operational reports.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a strong communicator and practical team leader with excellent coordination, problem-solving, and people-management skills. The candidate should be capable of managing both factory and outlet operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and working closely with R&D to bring new products from trial stage to commercial production.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Bakery & Confectionery, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Experience in chocolate, bakery, food production, or retail food operations preferred.
• Good understanding of food safety, production processes, hygiene, and SOPs.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production and retail environment.
