Job Description

Skills & Knowledge

  • Completes machine setting within the planned time
  • Reads drawings, including GD&T
  • Programming skill, with macro programming knowledge
  • Chooses the right tool for each operation and has fixture knowledge
  • Uses the correct measuring instruments
  • Monitors, reduces and records cycle time and setting time
  • Follows up machine logs and employee logs properly
  • Hands over parts to operators well
  • Captures data well (tool life, productivity, quality, etc.)
  • Follows up all quality and production documentation
  • Manages production and quality issues independently
  • Follows 5S and safety practices
  • Maintains housekeeping (machine cleaning, department cleaning, etc.)
  • Can operate the machine when the operator is away
  • Willing to work on a shift basis
