Job Description
Job Title: Operations & Supply Chain Manager
Reports To: Founder / CEO
Job Summary:
Ardent Engineering is seeking an experienced Operations & Supply Chain Manager to orchestrate end-to-end order fulfillment, supplier coordination, logistics, and quality oversight. This person will manage suppliers, oversee quality checks, coordinate RFQ process, logistics & documentation, and work closely with leadership (Founder/CEO, Production, Quality) to serve customer expectations reliably. This role is ideal for someone with supplier management experience, and a practical understanding of manufacturing workflows - especially in machining, fabrication, welding, and export supply.
Key Duties:
- Coordinate production, quality, and delivery for industrial precision components
- Manage vendors and subcontractors for outsourced processes
- Oversee export logistics and compliance documentation
- Maintain delivery performance metrics and supplier KPIs
- Support continuous workflow improvement
- Coordinate with design and leadership to execute RFQs
Qualifications:
- 3–8 years in manufacturing operations/supply chain
- Experience with vendor management, export documentation
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
- Preferred industries - Casting, Foundry, Fabrication, Welding, etc.
