Role Summary

The AWS Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing administering and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability security scalability and operational excellence The role requires handson expertise in AWS services automation monitoring security and incident management while supporting businesscritical applications and cloud environments

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

Administer and manage AWS environments including EC2 VPC S3 RDS EBS Route 53 IAM CloudWatch Auto Scaling and Load Balancers

Configure and maintain highly available and faulttolerant cloud solutions

Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization

Security Compliance

Implement AWS security best practices and governance controls

Manage IAM policies roles permissions and MFA

Monitor security events and remediate vulnerabilities

Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

Automation Infrastructure as Code

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code IaC solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation

Automate provisioning deployment and configuration management

Create and maintain scripts using Python PowerShell or Shell scripting

Monitoring Incident Management

Monitor system health using CloudWatch and related monitoring tools

Troubleshoot infrastructure networking and applicationrelated issues

Participate in Major Incident P1P2 handling and Root Cause Analysis RCA

Implement proactive monitoring and performance improvements

Networking

Manage VPCs VPNs Route Tables Security Groups NACLs Transit Gateway and Load Balancers

Troubleshoot connectivity DNS hybridcloud and routing issues

Support secure integrations between onpremises and AWS environments
