About the Role
AMA Bakery & Café is looking for a responsible and customer-oriented Team Leader / Restaurant Captain to supervise daily floor operations, coordinate with the service team, and ensure a smooth and welcoming guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the service team during daily operations.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and courteous service to guests.
- Manage table allocation, guest seating, and service flow.
- Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, barista, cashier, and management teams.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and food safety practices.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
- Assist with team training, onboarding, and shift coordination.
- Monitor order accuracy and service turnaround time.
- Support daily operational checklists and reporting.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment.
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Captain, Team Leader, Senior Steward, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations.
- Professional grooming, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000, depending on experience and suitability.
