Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

1. Job Purpose:To identify, develop, and manage business opportunities for water and wastewater treatment solutions, systems, and services. Responsible for achieving sales targets through client acquisition, relationship management, and project coordination with the technical team.

  • 2. Key Responsibilities:Generate new business leads for water treatment plants (RO, STP, ETP, Softener, DM, UF, etc.).
  • Visit potential customers (industries, hotels, institutions, builders, etc.) to understand their requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and techno-commercial offers.
  • Follow up on leads, quotations, and tenders until order closure.
  • Coordinate with the design and service departments for project execution.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with existing clients for repeat business and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
  • Participate in exhibitions, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide market feedback to management.
  • Maintain proper sales reports, inquiry status, and customer database.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments as per agreed terms.
  • 3. Key Performance Areas (KPIs):Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Conversion ratio of inquiries to orders.
  • New customer acquisition rate.
  • Timely follow-up and client satisfaction.
  • Collection efficiency and payment realization.

Job Specification (JS) – Sales Executive (Water Treatment Plant Division)CriteriaDetailsEducationDiploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering OR Graduate in Science with experience in industrial sales.Experience2–5 years of experience in sales of Water Treatment Plants (RO, STP, ETP, DM, UF systems, etc.) or related environmental engineering products.Technical KnowledgeUnderstanding of water & wastewater treatment processes, flow diagrams, and system components. Ability to read basic technical drawings and specifications.Skills RequiredGood communication and presentation skills, negotiation ability, client relationship management, MS Office proficiency, and CRM knowledge.Personal AttributesSelf-motivated, result-oriented, disciplined, and able to work independently.LanguagesEnglish and Hindi (Knowledge of regional language preferred).Other RequirementsWillingness to travel frequently for client visits and site inspections.
