Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our architectural firm in Delhi. One will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, knowledge of Indian taxation and regulatory requirements, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Prepare and maintain financial records, financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

·        Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

·        Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers.

·        Ensure proper documentation of transactions.

·        Prepare and file various tax returns, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns, ensuring compliance with Indian tax regulations.

·        Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.

·        Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Eligibility:

·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        Proven experience as an Accountant.

·        Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

·        Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax regulations in India.

·        Strong communication skills

·        Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·        Professional certifications such as CA (Chartered Accountant) or CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) are preferred.

·        Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills would be advantageous.
