JOB DESCRIPTION – CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT (CA)
Position: Chartered Accountant (CA)

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage the company's finance, accounting, taxation, compliance, financial planning and reporting functions. The candidate should have strong exposure to the Real Estate / Construction industry and understand project-wise accounting, RERA-related financial requirements, taxation and cash-flow management.
Key Responsibilities1. Finance & Accounting
- Manage end-to-end accounting and financial operations of the company.
- Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual closing of books.
- Ensure accurate project-wise and entity-wise accounting.
- Monitor receivables, payables, expenses and cash flows.
- Prepare MIS, financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor project budgets, cost control and profitability.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, Advance Tax and other applicable compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, income-tax returns and other statutory filings.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants and government authorities.
- Handle tax assessments, notices and related documentation.
3. Real Estate-Specific Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of RERA-related financial and accounting requirements.
- Monitor project-wise revenue, construction costs and profitability.
- Track customer collections, booking amounts and outstanding receivables.
- Review agreements, invoices, payment schedules and financial implications of real estate transactions.
- Monitor project cash flow and fund utilization.
- Coordinate with sales, CRM, legal and project/construction teams for financial controls.
4. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections.
- Analyze project profitability, EBITDA, gross margin and net profit.
- Provide financial insights to management for business decisions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.
- Prepare financial models for new and existing real estate projects.
5. Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits.
- Ensure proper maintenance of books, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Establish and monitor internal financial controls.
- Identify discrepancies, financial risks and control gaps.
- Required SkillsQualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 3–8 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Real Estate / Construction industry experience preferred/mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and accounting standards.
- Good understanding of project accounting and cash-flow management.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage finance operations.
- Preferred CandidateExperience working with a real estate developer/promoter.
- Exposure to multiple projects/entities.
- Experience in handling audits, taxation, MIS and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of real estate project economics and financial controls.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Timely statutory and tax compliances.
- Effective project-wise cost and cash-flow control.
- Reduction in financial discrepancies and compliance risks.
- Accurate MIS and management reporting.
- Improved project profitability and working-capital management.
