Job Description

  1. Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Site Execution

  • Supervise all electrical installation and execution activities.
  • Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor electrical conduit, wiring, cabling, DB installation, and lighting work.
  • Coordinate with civil, interior, HVAC, and false ceiling teams.
  1. Electrical Drawings & Planning

  • Read and understand AutoCAD electrical drawings.
  • Prepare and review electrical layouts, lighting layouts, and power distribution plans.
  • Verify electrical points as per interior design requirements.
  • Identify and resolve site-related technical issues.
  1. Material Management

  • Prepare electrical material requirements and BOQs.
  • Monitor material consumption and stock availability.
  • Check material quality and specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely material delivery.
  1. Site Supervision & Quality Control

  • Supervise electricians and electrical contractors.
  • Ensure proper installation of wiring, conduits, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures.
  • Inspect electrical work before ceiling and wall closures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards.
  1. Testing & Commissioning

  • Conduct electrical testing and inspections.
  • Check earthing, insulation resistance, and circuit continuity.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Identify and rectify electrical faults.
  1. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily progress reports (DPR).
  • Maintain electrical work progress and manpower records.
  • Attend site meetings and provide execution updates.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and interior designers.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned electrical works.
  • Required QualificationsDiploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in electrical site execution, preferably in hotel, commercial, or interior fit-out projects.
  • Good knowledge of electrical drawings and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of lighting systems, power distribution, DB panels, MCB, RCCB, and earthing.
  • Understanding of electrical BOQ, material estimation, and site measurements.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
  • Ability to handle electrical contractors and site manpower independently.
  • Preferred SkillsHotel and commercial interior electrical execution.
  • Decorative and architectural lighting installation.
  • Coordination with HVAC, fire alarm, and other MEP services.
  • MS Excel and daily reporting.
  • Electrical safety and quality inspection.
