Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and execute HVAC installation works, including VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, ducting, ventilation, and piping.
- Ensure installation work is carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, vendors, and project managers for smooth site execution.
- Monitor daily site activities, manpower productivity, material consumption, and work progress.
- Check HVAC ducting, refrigerant piping, chilled water piping, insulation, equipment installation, and related accessories.
- Conduct and coordinate pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, vacuuming, and testing & commissioning activities.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site measurements, material requisitions, and work completion reports.
- Ensure quality standards, safety requirements, and proper housekeeping at the project site.
- Identify site issues, resolve technical problems, and report delays or deviations to the Project Manager.
- Support preparation of BOQs, as-built drawings, snag lists, and handover documentation.
- Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution and site supervision.
- Good knowledge of HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Experience in manpower handling, material planning, and site coordination.
- Knowledge of testing, commissioning, quality control, and safety procedures.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
- Preferred Candidate ProfileCandidates with experience in commercial buildings, offices, hospitals, hotels, industrial projects, or data centers will be preferred.
- Practical site execution experience is essential.
- Candidates should be responsible, disciplined, proactive, and capable of independently managing site activities.
