Mechanic Motor Vehicle

Role Purpose:

We are looking to hire a technically skilled and experienced professional with hands-on knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems related to ambulances. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, maintenance, troubleshooting and timely repair of ambulances and their associated systems.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspection, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of ambulances.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in ambulances on site in Delhi /NCR.

Handle mechanical systems including engine, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, cooling systems and other vehicle components.

Handle electrical systems including battery, wiring, lighting, alternator, starter motor, AC systems and other electrical components.

Ensure proper functioning of electrical fittings.

Conduct pre-deployment checks to ensure ambulances are roadworthy, operational and event-ready.

Respond to urgent breakdowns and coordinate timely resolution to minimise ambulance downtime.

Candidate Requirements

Relevant technical qualification/certification in Automobile, Mechanical or Electrical trade preferred.

Proven hands-on experience in ambulance maintenance and repair.

Strong working knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.

Prior experience with ambulance fleets, emergency vehicles or specialised vehicles will be preferred.

Ability to independently identify faults and carry out basic to advanced troubleshooting.

Willingness to travel to different locations/sites as required.

Good coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent operational requirements
