Role

As a Section Head – you will be a part of Tool Engineering department and will report to Head of Production Engineering .Your role will be:
To ensure all infrastructure facilities and process support to Aluminium & Steel production shop, Tooling to whole plant and Digitalisation related infrastructure to whole plant in order to achieve best productivity, day by day improved quality and 100% safety thru safe, reliable & robust process design and also to ensure successful execution of new Product , Process, Machine and improvement projects.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key reponsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Timely Execution of new Product in Aluminium phase & Steel Phase to fulfil the business plan requirements.
2. Execution of ECN's in Mass Production (Aluminium phase)
3. Productivity Improvement through Waste Elimination & Automation
4. Execution of CAPEX items as per plan.
5. Execution of Shining projects and kaizens for continual improvement
6. Operating cost reduction Initiatives
7. Strengthen Aluminium shop & Steel Shop process for improvement in quality rate and reduction in defects
8. Implementation of Digitization Projects
9. Ensure availability of tools and fixtures as per production plan and shop wise consumption norms
10. Ensure tool cost remains within budget besides consumption abnormalities
11. others-Coordination for Activities of project selection for policy deployment

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.E (Mechanical Engineering) with 5 + years’ experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Knowledge of machining process design, Tooling’s, Jigs & Fixture. NPD cycle, PPAP & APQP.
2. Process Development & Improvement Skills, Project Management Skills & Communication skills
Problem Solving & Negotiation Skills.
Dealing with Ambiguity
3. MS Office, SAP, AutoCAD, PLM, MS Project

Behavioural Skills

Good Communication & presentation skills, Self motivated
