HVAC Site Engineer

Role Description The Site Supervisor – HVAC Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in the Guwahati, Assam responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution of HVAC installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at project sites. The role includes coordinating with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in line with design specifications and quality standards. The Site Supervisor monitors site progress, manages resources and materials, resolves technical and operational issues, and ensures compliance with relevant codes, safety regulations, and company procedures. Daily tasks also involve reviewing drawings, guiding technicians, maintaining documentation such as work reports and checklists, and supporting inspection and testing of HVAC systems. The role requires proactive communication, regular status updates to project management, and commitment to continuous improvement in site practices and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices.
• Engineering Management and Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and control resources, schedules, and deliverables at site.
• Team Leadership capabilities to supervise technicians and contractors, delegate tasks, and foster a safe, collaborative work environment.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to read and interpret drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Relevant experience in site supervision for HVAC or building services projects, preferably in commercial or industrial environments.
• Understanding of safety standards, local regulations, and best practices for construction and mechanical works.
• Effective communication and reporting skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; additional certifications in HVAC or project management are an advantage.
